Call of Duty 28: This One is Different We Promise Edition

Yes that’s right. How long will you keep buying Call of Duty for? This applies to some other computer games too.

Once a year, or even sometimes more than that, an edition of a game such as Call of Duty is released. Then the map packs come along for more money. Remember the days of Goldeneye 64? A time when we got everything out the box.

BHSPitMonkey_Old_School_Game_Controller_2Similar principles exist with other games such as Fifa. Now, I love a game of Fifa but as obvious it may seem when you think of it, EA have more than likely had most of the ideas for the game years ago. But, will string the consumer along and drip feed new features each year in order to make the game seem a whole new thing.

Trouble is, lot’s of us are all Fifa addicts!

Rant over and have your say below…

Big business is profits, and this technique of business which you hate generates the most dorrah.

I hate it too, I also wasn’t keen on goldeneye, n64 control was to ahead of it’s time for me. I liked Crash Bandicoot.
